Berkshire Private GP was founded by Dr Vinay Uppal, an experienced GP with an extensive background in both the NHS and private healthcare sectors. GP Home Visit
Sometimes it’s easier – and more reassuring – to see a doctor in person. Our GPs can visit you at home, bringing the same high level of care to your doorstep.
Whether it’s for peace of mind, a thorough check-up, or when you’d simply prefer not to travel, we’ll arrange a visit at a time that works for you.
Starting from £250
Remote GP Consultation
You can choose to have a 15 minute appointment by telephone or video call - whichever feels easiest and most comfortable for you. Both options give you direct access to one of our GPs from the comfort of your own home. If you need a longer appointment, please let the patient experience team know when you book your appointment.

Remote MSK Physiotherapy
If you are finding it difficult to access physiotherapy - whether due to health reasons, a busy schedule, or being away from home - our remote musculoskeletal physiotherapy service makes expert care more accessible. You can receive professional physiotherapy support from the comfort of your home, office, or wherever you are, with flexible appointments designed to fit around your lifestyle.
£40 for a 30 minute assessment
£30 for a 20 minute follow-up
What does the fee include?
The consultation
Doctors on demand
Remote consultation with a Clinician anytime between 8am - 8pm, 7 days a week.
Home visit by a GP available from 8am - 10pm, 7 days a week.
The prescription
Providing a prescription to be sent to a pharmacy of your choice
We will work with your local Pharmacy, so your prescription can be collected on the same day.*
All prescriptions are only issued based on the doctors clinical judgement.
At the Doctor’s discretion, we may be able to provide a prescription of your repeat medication.
Some medication may only be prescribed if you are registered with an NHS GP and we are able to inform them of the supply.
*Medication will be required to be paid for on collection and collection availability will vary on your local Pharmacy opening times.
Private referrals

Our referral letters are open referral letter’s and can be taken to see a specialist.
Private fit note
Commonly know as a sick note
We can only provide fit notes for a maximum of 2 weeks, and these are for employers only. They cannot be issued for schools, colleges, or universities.
We are unable to provide or complete other documents such as fitness to work forms, fit-to-fly certificates, or travel insurance paperwork. If you’re unsure, please contact us and we’ll be happy to clarify.
